Sagamore Horses
Sagamore
In 1989 Alfred Fitzi established the Sagamore Warmblood Stud in Pinjarra Western Australia. He was enable to do so by the sale of a very special horse, Fredi’s showjumping mare “Saga”. He then named the Stud in her honour. Fredi imported his three Warmblood Stallions: Sagamore Furisto, Sagamore Grand Seigneur, and Sagamore Mamiro and they achieved considerable success in Breeding shows, and Dressage and Show-Jumping competitions. Those three stallions produced very many progeny all around Australia, and these have certainly contributed a great deal to Warmblood Breeding in Australia. Sagamore progeny continue to perform very well in all disciplines.
